How to see your REAL ping

Step 1: Navigate to your Steam folder.
Step 2: Open the folder steamapps\common\modern warfare 2\players
Step 3: Open file config_mp.cfg with notepad
Step 4: Change the lines:
seta cg_ScoresPing_Interval "100"
to
seta cg_ScoresPing_Interval "20"

and

seta cg_ScoresPing_MaxBars "4"
to
seta cg_ScoresPing_MaxBars "10"

You will then have 10 ping bars, each representing 20ms of ping, rather than the standard 4 bars worth 100ms each. Hope this helps. Also, there is NO risk of being banned, as it is within the rules.
